Counting down to 2007!

Yeah! Let's stand up and prepare for the arrival of 2007! A New Year with new hopes. 2006 have been a years full of experiences and memories.

For the first half of the year, I was still a NSF, preparing for ATEC. A memorable ATEC in March in Thailand. Carry a 35kg bag walking for 20 over km of distance in the 39 to 41 Degree Celsius heat and without sleeping much for 7 days. Well, the effort is well paid off, we won the Best Combat Unit in the SAF and Best Company! One of my another Proudest moment I ever was. Going SAF day with my Red Beret and Badges, and all the eyes from other unit looking with the "wow" feeling at you. Not forgetting the ORD parade which marks the end of my NSF life, wearing number 1 in front of my friends and families.

Second half was really cool! Glad to have become a student of NUS, join Netball Recre as committee for CCA. The stress NUS gave us is what I need to learn to cope with and grow up with. There is a saying "Stress gives me the power to mature", and I hope this will apply to me too.

Finally, end of the year, nono, it is just the beginning of another new year! Of course with some New Year Resolution which I hope can achieve in the coming year.

2. Organize Netballuxion at outside, bring Netball Recre to another new level
3. Enjoy my life in NUS to the fullest! Study Smart and Play Hard!
4. Went for an Oversea trip in the next coming holiday. Hope can go for some backpack and climb some mountain.
5. Cut my hair and dye back black, a new change of image.
6. Buy a music Keyboard, and learn it.

Finally finish watching Goong le.. after so long.. the ending is so cute! Yoon Eun-hye is so KAWAII too..

yeah! can go on to watch other drama le.. hmm.. What drama should I watch now.. Got so many of them at home...

Ooo yea! actually today wanna meet Tuanhong and Xianghui for lunch, but whole day rain, so I decide to cancel it. Then Weishen suddenly jio me for lunch and say come and drive me, haha.. ok lor.. free ride.. no harm...

Went to Beach Road there to eat Bak Kut Teh.. Yummy! We order a few dishes, and eat till we damn full, 1 person only cost $9, cheap cheap! Next time will go there eat again!

Tang Yuan

My mum just make some tang yuan for my lunch.. not soup-based but dried type.. still so yum yum! especially with the outer peanuts, double yum yum!

BBQ-ed Lobster?

Rested for only 2 hours and head out to another Xmas Party at Weishen's house. It's kinda of a mini sec sch gathering bah.. Had BBQ~ hoho..

Guess what? we took a long 2 hours just to start the bloody fire.. Yawnz, wait till my stomach is calling for food. It's not our fault, k? Is definitely the charcoal fault! I will never never and never buy the brand again! Stated "Low Flame, High Heat" on the charcoal pack, what the hell, but I see NO FLAME at all! and it stated 4kg, but when I carry it, I can even use 2 finger lor, I think is not even 1kg! In the end, we gonna went to the nearest mama shop to buy another pack of different brand 1.

Using the new charcoal, we finally can see a slight of the slow burning flame. Our hunger had its control over us, forcing us to put more food on the grill to BBQ all of them. This is not a simple BBQ, k? we had lots of food, basically SEAFOOD! yum yum! Scallops, prawns, sotong, and even lobster, yes! I said LOBSTER! Thanks Weishen for sponsoring it. haha.

Trying our best to cook all the food, but the nightfall had make a impact on our mentality forcing us to just stop cooking and head to Weishen's house for some light after-meal activities. We played Winning Eleven with 5 controller! hoo hoo~ kinda of cool! 2 vs 3. And not forgetting playing what Marvin called the "Indian Poker", or in short "Ah-Nei Poker". It is kinda of easy to play, we pick a card from the deck, and put on our forehead, so we can't see the card, only the other can see it. Then, we try to influence each other to change the card, kinda of sabo each other.. lolz.. The biggest and smallest will had some sort "punishment", to drink the chivas or eat the left-over lobster. haha.

Had another gift exchange over that(oo yes! is my 3rd gift exchange for this year Xmas). and home sweet home after that.

And yeah! Now is 5.45am le, and I haven't sleep! Good night~

Poly Xmas Celebration + Zhengxun Farewell

I am damn shagged out now.. Yesterday only sleep for 3-4 hours..

Had a great night yesterday. Once again meet up with all my poly mates to have some sort of Xmas Party cum Farewell. the eat-till-we-drop Steamboat at Jialong's house. lol. Too much food le, so we can't finish all the balls!(meatballs, fishballs) This time round, for gift exchange, gonna this cute pig alarm clock from Tuanhong, Heng ah, lucky dint receive chocolate from Jialong or Xianghui, if not, will wrack they 2.. haha..

Tuanhong bring along some old videos. Those videos we took 5-6 years ago, really bring back great memories. and HEY! we knew each others for 5-6 years le! haha.. Still so close.. Great to have all these classmates to grow with me. lol.

My 1st Xmas Gift Exchange

Full Day Out!

Wanna to meet Tuanhong and Xianghui for lunch at 11am, but I overslept, was really too tired after 5 days of work. My body not yet adapt to it. No choice, in the end took cab there. Waste money again..

Then again, rush to Netball meeting after the meal, once again, late. sianz.. keep rushing for time. The meeting is quite organize, now the picture really seem clearer to all of us, and the tasks is well distributed. Hope we all can meet the deadline.

After the meeting, was damn shag.. Walk from PS to Borders.. Can feel my bones is getting old, can't really take it anymore(p.s. I am no longer a fit 18 years old kid).. haha..

Then went shopping for gift exchange for Christmas Party! Sound Fun, right? but it is not! This year I gonna attend 3 Christmas Party(Yes! 3!), which means I need to buy 3 presents for the gift exchanges.. ahh... spend $50 for all the gifts! Haven't celebrate Christmas, my pocket already burn a big hole.. Some more I not perm working staff, don't have year end bonus.. sianz..

Shop till the shop closed, zai mah? haha.. Dota again after the shopping.. wah lau, I lose all 3 matches! Think because afternoon I said Xianghui keep losing Dota match, kena karma le.. haha.. play till 3am.. shag.. then went to newton circle to eat supper..

Today I went Bugis for lunch with my colleague.. Saw this Xmas tree, guess wat? It cost 1.5 million! wah sia... made of 900+ carats of diamonds.... If I can pick up any of this diamond, I can be rich le! haha..

getting Old?

Been quite a while since I saw Marvin, so decided to meet up with him for dinner for some catch up. It goes well until when he notice both of us in business suit and he said... "We are getting old le".. INDEED! I also think it is DAMN true..

Remember last time during poly, when we all wear formal attire to school for presentation.. yes, we wear formal, but however we still look like those kiddo trying to act "style".. we just don't have the "mature" look for wearing the right formal attire..

But now.. When I put on my formal attire at home looking at the my own BIG full body mirror.. I look normal.. yea! perfectly normal... PERHAPS TOO NORMAL! I just look like those Normal Working Adult on the street who work everyday from 9-6! ooohhh NO! What does it really mean? It also mean that I am getting old... What happen to my YOUTH? Where have it gone to? To a far away lala-land... and never ever return again...

Mambo~

Went for job interview with Jialong this morning but he need only 1 person, sianz. How can we decide, cannot pang seh my friend. Then went to Tampines Mall for breakfast. Havent really been there for a while, still remember every night out when I was still in army, Tampines Mall is the place where we usually hang out. Lots of memories..
