Congrats all my Brothers for Commission to Officers

A rushing day for me and a BIG DAY for all my brothers. Surely it can't be missed. All my brothers going to be commissioned as officers at a same day.

Early in the morning, Vincent, Marvin and me rent a Toyota Corolla really to drive into Safti for such a big day. Waiting for Marvin to get home, after his 32km route march, to go together. Vincent gets to drive the car first, it was a long distance, after we fetch Eugene at Boon Lay MRT and we are on our way.

Reach Safti and the stupid marsaller didn't bring us to pink block which our carpark voucher put up so big for them to see. In the end, go to carpark G, which is so far. We had to take a free bus ride to the parade square.

We got 4 tickets for 5 person, but we hiong in, because the marsaller don't even bother to check. haha. Yongxiong came to join us a while later.

The commissioned parade is damn long, got march in, inspection by guest of honour, prize presentation, prayer for the new officer-to-be, marching up the audience seat. We had to wait for 2 hours to had a 5 min to get the photographs. Sigh...

After the parade, is the buffet, don't know why pay $10 for food that treat like my cookhouse food.

Finally is my turn to drive back to weishen's house for celebration, from jurong to bishan, first time drive such a long distance. Good experience.

Weishen treated us at Liquid Kitchen, it is cosy pub, good place to hang out. Actually want to order main course, but it is not serving it at that late hours. So we order some finger foods and play daidee and watch Man Utd match at the same time. At first, forgot how to buy daidee, but after a few rounds, get back my form again. Win quite a lot, but too bad not playing any money, just leisure play, and Man Utd won too, double joy. haha.

After that, went back to Weishen house for a drink, Chivas + Green Tea taste sux, don't ever try it. I rather it mix with Sprite. We play until we are damn tired then we went home, Marvin drive us home and praticing his driving, because he is the only one who didn't drink. haha..

A great day. Not booking out next week, because will be serving the nation on stand-by. Going Thailand on 13th Oct, back on 31st Oct. I hope this trip is fun, only the R&R motivate me to go. haha.

Thanks for the Presents! I like it very much!

Had a supper with my secondary school brothers and their girlfriends last night at prata house, counted as my post-birthday treat. It is quite cheap, 6 person only cost $21.

We had a short chit chat session, Marvin talks about his mad CO and training, Vincent talk about his computer engineering stuffs, and Weishen talk about the R&R experience when he is in Thailand. Nice to had such a chat after we didnt been meeting up after a long time.

After that went Weishen's house to play winning 11, kena trashed by Vincent 3-0, sad, because I don't know how to play either.

Then Marvin, Weishen, Vincent and Me had 1 round of Mahjong. Fucking shit! I lose again, I think it is because I only had 4 hours of sleep since Saturday, make me lose concertrate and "pong" wrong tile. But nevermind, my brothers bought me nice gifts, at first I thought is only a bag, but after I reach home and open it up, it was a surprise. There is Okley Sunglass, Swiss Army Toilette and Rip Curl Slipper inside.

And This is my presents...

I am 21 le!

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me

A lonely birthday of mine.. 21 years of memories.. Sound like I am getting quite old le.. haiz.. I had to spend 21 hours of my birthday in camp, kinda of sianzzz... Thanks to all my friends who had wish me happy birthday by calling and sms-ing me, thanks for still remember my birthday.

Thursday I completed 1.5km coastal swim. I am a very weak swimmer and I don't dare to swim in the sea before, so this is the consider as first time I ever swam in the sea. This is really a lot of different compare to swimming at the swimming pool, as I can't rest at the side when I am tired. I can't really complete the swim without my buddy, he help me by dragging me while swimming, push me and encourage me. I encounter clamp during the swim as I had to use double the strength to swim forward, he drag me along and ask me to rest. Thanks "sui gu". Without you, I don't think I can finish the swim. Thank you.

Comex @ Suntec

Went to Comex at Suntec with Xianghui and Eugene, check out the price of Sony mp3 player, is the usual retail price, so I think better don't buy it first. I bought CDR $30 for 100 pieces, quite cheap. Xianghui bought a Kodak Digical Camera @ only $299, still recieve free gift such at tripod, 2 SD memory card, and 100 4R photos, quite a good deal.

Went around searching for Shijia Birthday Present and bought a perfume for her. Meet up with Tuanhong, Patrick and Zhengxun to go Shijia's birthday bbq at Sembawang Park. Meet up with Jialong there. Saw lots of Secondary School friends of mine, had a wonderful time there. We took lots of photos using Xianghui's new Kodak Camera.

When Jialong fetching me and Patrick home, he let Patrick try driving first. Haha, he could not make a U-turn, I think he is still not experience enough. He should drift a bit to the left first before making a U-turn because the road is only 2-lane. Then, Jialong let me drive, at first I was a bit of panic because it has been 1 year since I last drove(Yes, 1 Year!!). The engine was dead for 3 time at the initial part, but as I goes on driving, it become more and more smooth and I also hit up to the 5th gear, yeah! Now, it gives back me the confident to drive manual car again, but I was still very lazy, so I think auto suit me more. haha.

The Longest Distance I Ran

This week in camp is petty fun. I did the High Confidence Course aka HCC. Although due to rain, we only did the low obstacle part, but I find it is fun and challenging, especially the high wall which need teamwork to do it. I injured my hand muscle when pushing Freddie up the wall, but now only left a bit of the pain.

And today is the AHM training, we went East Coast for a run, a 18km run. That is the longest distance I ever had run so far in my life. I run and stop to walk and run and walk and run and walk then I am able to complete the run. When you run, you will feel your arms and hands get heavier. It is really tiring, even now my leg still ache. Saw Marvin running there too, so qiao, but he is only running 10km, no sweat la.. haha...
