Slave to mobile phone?
Just read about Singaporean "Passion" for the mobile phone. I was surprised to see the figures.
Life on the line...
- 60% say they use their phones while sitting in the toilet
- 23% can't live without their phones for even one day
- 28% have sent SMS or talked while driving
- Users have send out an average of 389 text messages a month
- 56% use their mobile phone to flirt
- 18% have broken up a relationship via text message
- 93% talk on their mobile phones or send text messages during a meal
- Top five things Singaporeans use their mobile phones for: Send text messages, make calls, as an alarm clock, organise their days, take photo
- 59% use their mobile phones during a meeting
- 31 % think that losing their mobile phone is more inconvenient than losing their ICs, house kets, wallets, credit cards, or PDAs
I think I only belong to point 4 and 10. Because I do usually sms my friends to ask them out. If you lose your mobile phone, means you are losing all your contacts, it will be difficult to get back all the contacts you have.
On point 8, quite surprise Singaporean don't use mobile phone to set alarm clock more than they make phone call.
Mobile phone is just a "machine" for us, but now we are becoming SLAVE to the mobile phone?

What is Drifting?
When you are turning a corner, step on your brake and at the same time increase your acceration. This is Drifting. sound easy? but it is hard to do it.Today is a long long day for me.
Met up with Patrick, Xianghui and Yongxiong for a quick lunch and go on watching Initial D, the movie.
Lucky for us, I booked the tickets on Thursday night, that why still have seats for us. Because when I reach there, all of the slots(YES, is ALL!) are "selling fast".
The storyline is not too bad, and the scene of the car racing is damn GOOD! CHIO ah! the Drifting is beautiful. The only bad thing about the movie is the ending is like there is no ending, so i assume there will be Initial D 2 coming out soon, as the story have not end yet.
Walked around after movie, go spotlight check out the price of bean bag. The beans, the bag and the cover are sold seprately, total add up to $60+, haiz.. quite expensive. Still considering should I buy or not to buy.
By the way, Caleb and Xianghui bought our class some "CUTE" keychain from Taiwan. haha.. Thanks dudes for the keychain.

In the evening, went Big Splash for a graduation dinner. Took some photos with my friends
The dinner is so-so only la. The game quite daring, one of it is getting 2 of our guys to wear bra and panties to do pole dancing. This is the only fun part. Well, for the rest of the programme, did not really enjoy myself, because is not my type of party, so I went home early. Tomorrow will be a better day?

Edwin Return!
Returned from 72km. Walked 4 rounds of east coast. Shag, whole body aching, really need for mind over body. After 40km, dragging my ass and feet to walk toward the end. Luckily, I survived!Well, due to the rehearsal, I booked out late today, so only able to meet Jialong, Patrick and Zhengxun in the evening.
We went to eat burger king, cannot believe that I am so hungry that I finish the whole whopper meal(people who knows me, should knows I usually cannot finish my food), prehaps I am too hungry after a long week.
After that, get our movie tickets for batman return. Actually it is quite a nice show, showing how "batman" becoming a real batman, how a lost guy conquering his own fear and overcome it. It will be another movie I recommend you guys to watch. Do not miss it.
Next week will be Initial D, I think only will be able to watch the movie in the noon because I will be having a dinner. Can't wait for next week, ha!

Mr and Mrs Smith and Mr Tomas
Went Junction 8 with Tomas to catch up with Mr and Mrs Smith.. was damn surprise when he asked me how come the movie price so expensive(increase from S$8.50 to S$9.50).. ha.. becos he didnt been watching movie for a long long time, the last movie he watched was with me, yes, with me again... but that is a long long and very long time ago... lucky heard from him that jolin is gonna be back soon.. this mountain turtle gonna haf company to watch movie with le..by the way, the movie is great manz... both of them was married but donno that his/her another part is a killer.. they hide their identity to each other and the moves is great.. the funny part is there... 4 stars out of 5... if u got time, recommend u to check it out.. Mr and Mrs Smith..
and next week is father's day, think of anything to buy for your dad le? well, i still thinking wat to buy, if u got any idea, hope u can share with me.. haha..

Changing new "Skin"! Getting new Life?
Change a new blog skin... why? becos kinda of sick of the old one.. this 1 looks more clearer and simple.. now simple is another kind of creative or prehaps art, yea?getting more and more bored during the weekend.. cant really find thrills or exciting stuffs to do.. as movie tix getting more and more ex, so now i m into watching chinese drama and movie at home! but recently donno wat to buy to watch le.. so if u guys got any nice movie or drama.. plz plz plz intro this boring guy(me la!)..
this coming tue will be my 72km route march which only commando will walk this far... i can foresee aching and pain in my whole body... realli donno how to walk this far in 24hours, how to kip my mental strong... haha... so maybe if u r free.. can go east coast on tue nite or wed morning.. to see me, of cos! carry a heavy fullpack and dragging my feet and ass to walk... it will be tough but is not impossible! many haf completed it, and on wed it will be me! For Honour and Glory!

i m not Type B but Type A
Surprise surprise, when i said go crystal jade to eat, usually eugene will say ""siao ah, dont want la", but this time he agreed to go to eat.. so shocked.. maybe becos he get the best trainee and gotten the silver bayonet bah.. so he is damn happy.. haha... so without wasting time, we go to crystal jade kitchen at taka to had our dinner.. 6 of us(patrick, eugene, yongxiong, zhengxun, jialong and me) squeezing in tt small table.. but alrite la, heng i thin and skinny, so there is suffient space for the others... the food is nice but the potion a bit too little la.. cant realli make us full, but lucky for me be4 tt, i had some small bite at the taka B2..
after dinner, we went to cine to watch "My Boyfriend is type B", kinda of weird, rite? 6 guys watching the movie together.. but nvm la, anyway we had xi guan le... haha... but the movie is good, damn funny, i kip laughing... and there is a lot of romantic tactic inside, maybe can copy it.. haha...
finally, finish watch the movie.. feel damn hungry lor, i think becos the crystal jade food is too little.. we went to selegie to eat beancurd, saw jensen with his somebody there.. haha... so qiao ah... ha... then finish beancurd also damn hungry.. went to the coffeeshop nearby to had some more food... then jialong drove me and patrick home.. tok about a few stuffs in his car, a lot which i donno 1.. haha..
